The Raspberry Bourbon Sour: A Perfect Blend Of Tart And Sweet

Holladay Distilling recently shared their take on the Raspberry Bourbon Sour, a cocktail that has been around for a while but remains one of my personal favorites. There’s something about the balance of tart raspberries and bright citrus from the lemon that makes this drink incredibly refreshing. A well-made bourbon sour is always a treat, but adding raspberry simple syrup elevates it with an extra layer of fruity complexity.

INGREDIENTS:

2 oz. – Ben Holladay Bourbon (or your preferred bourbon)

1.5 oz. – Chilled Lemon Juice

1 oz. – Fresh Raspberry Simple Syrup

RECIPE:

To make the syrup, simmer sugar, water, and fresh raspberries until the sugar dissolves, then strain and chill before using. Shake everything together with ice, strain into a glass, and enjoy.
